Established in 2005, Bangla Art & Cultural Victoria (BACV) is a community-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to the celebration and promotion of the rich heritage of Bengali culture in Victoria, Australia. BACV has been the focal point of the Bengali diaspora in Melbourne for more than two decades, establishing a robust foundation for community engagement, artistic expression, and cultural exchange.

Bangla Art Centre Inc. (BACV) is the most prominent non-profit organization in Victoria dedicated to honoring the Bangla community, its culture, and its traditions. Since 2005, BACV has been bringing Bengali culture to life in Melbourne through a variety of initiatives and events.
Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve and promote the rich heritage of the Bangla community in Victoria. By organizing youth workshops, art exhibitions, and community events, as well as celebrating important holidays such as Pohela Boishakh and Durga Puja, BACV fosters a vibrant cultural environment.
What We Do
Youth Workshops: Engaging the younger generation in cultural activities and creative expression.
Art Exhibitions: Showcasing the artistic talents of the Bangla community and promoting cultural appreciation.
Community Events: Bringing people together to celebrate and strengthen community bonds.
